Web Video on the Big Screen

NewTeeVee returns to New York this fall for a special edition of our screenings series. In honor of Advertising Week, this month's theme is VIRAL ADS, by which we mean anything that was made with the intention of getting a big online audience and selling a product. In a departure from past events, we will be choosing the shorts to be shown the event with the help of analytics firm Visible Measures, which keeps track of the popularity of both online ads themselves as well as the parodies and take-offs of them made by fans. The event will be held at Schimmel Auditorium in Tisch Hall at NYU in New York City on September 23, 2008 from 8:30-10:30 p.m. It is being co-hosted by the New York Video 2.0 Meetup group.
